Heart rate peak issue

Hi, I find steady state cardio v effective for me and I like to monitor my heart rate by keeping the Fitbit on heart rate screen during my workouts. From time to time the device goes to a 'peak' heart rate screen, which means I need to bring down my heart rate. However it takes ages to revert to normal heart rate monitoring and if I hit the screen in frustration it pauses the workout. Very annoying!

Is there a way to stop it locking on 'peak'? I just want it to maintain monitoring.

Hi @Megfitnessgoal, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delay in responding your post.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, please restart your Inspire HR and then try the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the operating system version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
