@Siz Welcome to the Fitbit Community.
I'm happy to answer your question about how to turn off the quick view of the Fitbit Inspire. Please press and hold the side button of your Tracker until you see a hidden menu called quick settings. Here you will be able to do the following:
I moved your post to the Fitbit Inspire board since it is related to the topic.

This has been suggested in a few posts. Upvote them. The first link is a suggestion across multiple products. Second link is my suggestion specific to the Inspire. Title is misleading, FYI.

@brutus001 Thanks for visiting the Fitbit Community. Sorry for the delayed response.
@Siz @brutus001 I apologize for the misunderstanding. Currently, there is no option to set the Fitbit Inspire to automatically stop lighting at night. It needs to be done manually by turning the quick view off by following the steps provided above.
@Siz You can vote the suggestions shared above and once any update be available, it will be communicated as soon as possible.
@brutus001 Thanks for your help.
If you need assistance, please let us know.

I have turned off the wake light but it still lights up if I knock it on my pillow or blanket and it's super annoying. I didn't want a tracker with a display for just this reason and wish you hadn't discontinued the flex. If there isn't an update on this issue soon I'll have to go elsewhere for tracking.

I know this is an old post but the suggested fix doesn't work.
Ok, the screen doesn't wake when I move my arm BUT it's wakes whenever the sheet or pillow touches it (as previously mentioned by another user)
This is more that annoying because...well...it would be nice not be woken up 20 times a night by this stupid light.😠

I can't sleep, because the screen lights up every time i turn my wrist. I did put the wake mode on off, as suggested above, but still lights up.
I wonder if any of you found any solution in the meantime.

You would think after a few years of all phones having a night time setting that fitbit would've figured it out... It's the number one most annoying thing about this watch. Especially when you sleep with a partner

And what exactly prevents you at night because of the lighting? It seems to me that you have not defined your question accurately enough. If you have a night light or something like that, then it's enough to replace it with the same but with LEDs and set up the program correctly. Even for my car lights, I use LEDs precisely because they are very easy to set up and save energy, which is very nice. Perhaps you should think about it and also buy something similar.
