How to Dismiss Event Notifications? [Inspire HR + iOS]

My Fitbit displays events at the time they are set to occur, which is great. But I had one event display every ~15 minutes for an hour, and nothing I could think to try would dismiss the reminder notification--not swiping up and closing it, not pressing the back button. How do you dismiss notifications?

I'm new to this, but I looked in the Fitbit Help Database and on the Community and couldn't find an answer, so here goes! Thanks for the help!

@Gnomore If pressing the button on the left won't clear it and you don't have an option to "Close X" it out, then I would try to restart your Inspire and see if that works.

This is a (very irritating) issue for me as well. It seems to happen most often for "all day" events, such as birthdays. I really only need to be reminded once haha!
