How to delete step data?

Yesterday took a quick break and walked a bit..... Fitbit says it was .75 miles and 64,183 steps Clearly, something is amiss.  This does not show up in the "Activity History" so I cannot delete it there.

1 - Why did this happen?

2- How can I delete the data?

@FlipFlopDee Thank you for getting back.

You can’t delete steps and floors; instead, log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps or floors:

@FlipFlopDee Hi there. Thank you for the screenshot shared.

I'd like you to make sure that you're using only one device at a time, this will ensure that no additional steps appeared on your account. If you have MobileTrack paired, it's recommended to use it only if you don't have a Fitbit device available. If there was a fan or anything buzzing nearby, or if your phone was vibrating, that might have caused you to get incorrect steps during that time. Learn more about it by checking this article

Assuming this is the case, try unpairing MobileTrack by doing the following:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap MobileTrack:
    For Android devices,
tap the trash icon at the upper right corner.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove it from your account.
  4. Once that is done, you can continue syncing your Inspire 2 and monitor its behavior in the next days.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll try this.  I had the same thing happen again yesterday, logging 64,000 steps.  Is there a way to delete that?
