Incorrect Steps and Cal

I have just been using fitbit for the last 3 days and I am very upset disappointed with it.
I noticed I was doing way more steps than reality. 3k steps in a day, whereas I work from home, I am in lockdown and I work on the phone for 7h. I decided to check today and I noticed that after midnight they reset... but 1h later I already had 32 steps and I was in bed. So I started pay attention.

The fitbit STILL keeps counting steps when I am sitting down, sleeping, even when I went do the dishes, i took it off, after like 25min I remembered to put int... 150 more steps... like seriously??
calories is exactly the same. Its already pre-set that I burn 1660 cal, and in days that I am on the sofa doing nothing, it says I burned like 2800cal. It just feels that they have some sort of software programmed to calculate “automatically”. So even when you are standing-by... they will add steps as part of a “time” adjustment. Like every min or sec... add XYZ steps. I really like a feedback about this, otherwise I might have to return the product for fault. As honestly. Fair enough the excuse of “calories” we do need to calculate, still, I went to a endocrinologist and did some tests and 1661kcal is not the amount I burn in a day, without exercises. Its less. But keep adding steps if I am siting down and worse.. sleeping... doesnt make sense.
