Hi All, I was given an Inspire HR for xmas and the steps are massively innacurate, to the point of when i woke up this morning (having gone to bed before midnight) I have recorded 141 steps... Yesterday after putting it on, it was giving me about 100 steps for every 20 actually done.
Set arm to dominant (which apparently reduces the sensitivity and stride length was measured and enterered (although that doesnt explain steps logged whilst in bed). do i have the take into consideration this high level of innacuracy or is there a way to make the device come more into line with what I am actually doing?

How are you doing my friend @Steevjp? Welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for troubleshooting prior to contacting us. I can see that you've checked other posts about this topic, thank you for taking the time to do so.
Please take in count that when you’re doing activities that involve arm movement or performing other activities with your arm, your device tries to give you credit for those steps. For most customers, the number of extra steps added by arm-based movement isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device count steps?
If you want to remove the steps from your daily total, manually log the driving activity for the time you were in a vehicle. Find the instructions here: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities
