Inspire 2 is logging about 6,400 more steps during a 3 mile walk. Have it set on non dominant hand and I'm using the clip. Any reason the is occurring? Thanks

Sounds about right to me.  What do your think it should be?  What is your stride length?  Do the math.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Sorry, I wasn't clear.  It was logging over 12,000 steps which is about 6400 more than it should.
