This just started to happen to me too. Were you able to find a fix for this issue? Mine said I woke up at 3am and didn’t go back to sleep but that is not correct.

A few days after this started happening,it started to log in my sleep correctly without any corrective action on my part. For now, this issue is resolved.

For me the problem persists. It tracked my sleep on 3.10AM last night (I got up at 6.50). I've had it on for 3 nights and it hasn't tracked sleep past 3.30 for any of them. Seems remkarble. Between 10.30 and 3.30 there isn't a problem with sleep tracking. It therefore seems unlikely this is a hardware issue or related to how I ware the device and has something to do with the software.

My sleep keeps turning off. It also said it to not be on my wrist and that’s the only way I’ve ever worn it. I said it back to being on my wrist. It recorded one night correctly and now I haven’t had anything for the past four days. I don’t understand what it’s doing. It’s on tight enough, so I know that’s not the issue and I went and checked it after missing four days and sleep was turned off. I never turned it off. This is really starting to bug me! I’m certainly glad I didn’t pay for this and it was given to me through Social Security because right now I seriously don’t believe it’s worth any amount of money. 😡

Check to see if your sleep timer is on. You may have (or it may have) set you to wake at 3:30.

I appreciate your response but as of now, my sleep function has been working for over a week and I fingers crossed it continues. I thought I saw a message recently that they were having issues with their server. I think sometimes, it is a hiccup in their system as they have too many functions that perhaps can't be accommodated. My notifications feature stopped working years ago and has not worked since. I get them, but they do not stay in that section, but I have learned to live with that as I don't care about that feature. I appreciate your time, stay safe and strong.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your messages, tips and feedback
To record your sleep stages you'll need to let the Inspire 2 autorecognize your sleep.
If you use the "begin sleep" option in the app, you'll get the simplified record. This option is for those Fitbit models that don't feature sleep stages.
The following conditions can prevent the recording of sleep stages:
- You record your sleep using the app instead of the tracker's automatic sleep detection. ("begin sleep" option in the app)
- The tracker's battery is almost empty when you go to bed (below 25%). This prevents a regular recording of the heart rate.
- You use the metal bracelet while sleeping
- You sleep less than 3 hours.
- The bracelet is too loose or too tight on the wrist. You should be able to put your index finger between the bracelet and your arm without much resistance, so that your heart rate is recorded regularly and the sleep phases can be recognized.
More about this can be found here How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Please keep in mind, to have set your sleep as normal and not sensitive:What's the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting?

My problem isn’t that my Fitbit is not recording my sleep, it’s that it’s not showing up in the app until sometimes three days later. No matter how many times I will force quit restart the app it doesn’t do any good. And then all of a sudden, with absolutely no extra prompting, I’ll open the app and everything will be there. The last example was That the last day it recorded my sleeping in the app was on a Tuesday and I was looking on Saturday. So it showed Wednesday, Thursday & Friday as if I hadn’t slept. I opened and closed and restarted the app about five times and nothing changed. So I decided to contact help via chat and wouldn’t you know about 15 minutes into the chat the representative asked me to give him a screenshot of what I was seeing, I went back to the app (which had been open since I started the chat) and everything was there. That’s what’s frustrating me. I have an excellent Internet connection. I use Verizon 5G home Network. I can see when it’s disconnected. I also use Alexa and I can always talk to her to see if my Wi-Fi is down because I’ll get a red circle and she won’t respond, so I can tell when my Internet connection is not working. It’s always working when these issues happen. I’ve checked to see if my app is up-to-date, every single time it says it’s completely current. So this is the frustration I have.
Thank you.

@jbdean , Thank you for your reply and further infos.
Have you tried syncing your Inspire 2 and if the infos do not show up, to restart (off/on) your phone?
Do you have access to another mobile device where you can install the latest Fitbit app?
If so could you check there if the situations also occurs there?
