For the past 2 months, my fitbit Inspire 2 clock has shown an hour behind, and I've tried resetting it, resetting my phone, uninstalling the app, re-setting up my fitbit. I've tried everything just short of buying a new one. Someone help please

I had the same problem and assumed it was because I often travel from eastern time zone to central.
However, it is really frustrating when the device on my wrist is stuck in the wrong zone!
I too tried all the things you tried to know avail. Oddly when I let my device battery run to empty and then recharge it syncs and find the right zone.
Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update 🙏 😬

Why not try the Sync tips.
Also try clearing the fitbit app cache.
Shutdown the phone and turn on phone.

Oh my goodness... thank you. This fixed mine. For some reason, it was already off and set to the wrong time zone. But this fixed it. Thank you so much.

Hello Ellebear,
This has been happening to me too. In the app settings make sure the automatic time zone and automatic location are enabled.
Fixed it for me.
