Inspire 2 issues, heart beat tracker not responding

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

1. My heart beat tracker not responding therefore can’t update how many calories I have burned after exercise.

2. There isn’t any blue light at the back of my Inspire 2. Is this mean spoil?

3. Why Inspire 2 can’t track that I have exercise automatically even I set as auto detect mode for 10mins or longer, sometime after I turn off/on my phone only able to track & sometime doing so still can’t detect😓

Hi, thank you for all the information that you've provided about this issue with your Inspire 2 device, @MhHK

If you haven't done so already, please try the following steps that have been useful for other users with similar problems to the ones you mentioned earlier:

Regarding your activities that are not being tracked automatically, let me know if you're having this issue only with a specific activity.

Hi Davide,

As per your advise by restarting the device or set up my Inspire 2 like a new device would it erase up all my previous data record?

Answering the issue tracked unable track activities automatically, NO it just randomly unable to track and I wouldn’t know when it able or unable to track, each time I have to check after my exercise. Sometime when I just window shopping just about 10 to 15mins it’s able to track and I don’t even need to on/off my phone. But sometime when I’m on treadmill walking with speed for 30mins it’s can’t track my activities at all, even I on/off my phone. 😥

@MhHK if you sync the device before you restart it, none of your data will be lost.

When you walk on the treadmill are you holding the handrails or do you let your arms swing naturally? Your Fitbit detects that you're walking from the motion of the arm that is wearing it. If your arms aren't moving, your device can't tell that you are walking.

Hi Alex

Noted with thanks for the restart issue. ??

As for tracking issue, YES, I’m aware that it track from my arm movement. I did swing & raise up my arm while walking on treadmill, that’s why I’m curious why sometime it able to track even I didn’t really have huge movement of my arms but sometime it can’t. 🤔

It just appear that I have activities recorded without doing anything but sometime it can’t detect & I have to on/off my phone only able or sometime even can’t detect at all even I on/off my phone.

@MhHK in that case, I think you should follow the suggestion of @DavideFitbit and restart your device. That's what I do when my Fitbit starts doing things that are unexpected and it has always helped.

@MhHK Thank you for sharing all these updates.

You shouldn't lose any of your data after a restart or by setting up the Inspire 2 as a new device in your account, but I do recommend that you sync your device, as @alexthecat mentioned earlier.

Let us know if you continue to experience the same behavior after these troubleshooting steps (especially the restart), as they have been useful for other users experiencing similar problems.

I'll be around.
