Inspire 2 not tracking any activity

I just started wearing my fitbit.  Had set up an account when got it.  

Wanted to live healthier and started wearing to keep me on track.  Went for a walk and a swim today and it counts my steps but there is not in my exercise.  

Can someone please help?  Can't find anything online.  and yes it was synced.

Hi, @JEDMGirl , your Inspire 2 has two different ways of tracking excercises.

The first is “smarttrack”.  The Inspire 2 should automatically track certain exercises.  You can see which ones in your app on your phone.  On the opening screen in your app click on the picture/person icon top left to go to the account screen.  On the account screen scroll down and click on “Activity and Wellness”.  On the Activity and Wellness screen click on exercise.  There you will see a list of auto recognised exercises available.  You can set how long you need to be doing each one before auto recognition is activated (it will “back date” to your original start time once the auto recognition is triggered).  Please note that the minimum amount of time you need to be doing any activity is 10 minutes.

The other way of tracking is via the exercise app on the Inspire 2 itself.  This requires you to manually start and stop and exercise. The advantage of this method is that you will get your distance calculated as well as your steps, and for some activities you will get the option of connecting the GPS on your phone to your Fitbit, so that you also get a map of your walk.

To access the exercise app on your Inspire 2 swipe down from the clock screen and then tap on the exercise app.  Swipe up to select your exercise (you can edit which exercises are available in your app).
