Inspire 2 won't sync and the time is wrong

dont know if anyone is still on this dead app, but I paid for a watch a while ago. A Fitbit inspire 2. Tried syncing the thing back to the app for 3 hours and it didn’t want to. An error occurred kept showing up. Just want to fix the time on it. If anyone still uses this, please help

Hi there, @Lowis. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 2 is not syncing nor showing the correct time. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that the time will be wrong if your Fitbit device hasn't synced recently as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. 

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

In addition, please confirm if you've tried all the steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync? in the order listed. 

If the issue is still not solved, but you can confirm that your Fitbit device is syncing, I recommend changing your time zone to a completely different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.

I have this fitbit and mine hasn't synced in a long time.  however, same date as you my time is not correct.

I was able to resolve the issue
