My inspire hr is a few months old, I have had nothing but trouble. Does not track steps correctly, Major active minutes issues and doesn't always sync... what a waste of money!!!
I have called customer service, they acknowledge they have issues and asked if I could be patient??? Its been 3 months Really???

I’ve had issues since around the same time as you. It’s now the end of October and they STILL have not come up with a resolution!! They also told me to just wait...no time span, no information on the progress being made by the engineers, NOTHING. and the best part is that they won’t even replace the device because the engineers are still actively working on it. They’ve been “actively” working on it for months and still can’t fix it. Just keep going in circles and customer service has no advice to give. This is ridiculous!

There is a setting for setting step length - that might help.
I had sync issues at first, it seemed to be a problem on my android phone side. Try syncing when the phone isnt right next to the Inspire - the signal might be too loud when right up close - its bluetooth, so should work out to 15 yards or so.
After 6 months of ownership I'm liking the HR a lot more. Its not great for showing data on the watch, but seems to be a good datalogger with summaries visible on the dashboard.

I have synced my Fitbit when my phone wasn’t in the same room. Just did it again to humor myself but the downfall to my main issue is that I need to exercise to see if tracked the minutes or length of workout correctly. So I won’t know until possibly tomorrow if the issue is fixed.
I really loved my Inspire HR when I first got it but honestly as time goes on, more and more things don’t seem to be working correctly. I know the potential it has so it’s frustrating when it slowly stops working and there’s nothing I can do about it!

I agree. My heart rate does not work right. now my exercise tracker doesnt work. I also have been told that this would be fixed shortly. its been a month now since I was told that. I paid good money for this and only half of it works right. I was so excited to get it now to be disillusioned cause it isnt worth what I paid. Going to have to report. Tirex of this not working correctly.

Your not alone. I was so excited to receive it. only to be discouraged by it. what a let down. Guess I should report this.

Still having issues. I feel you! I call every day and still can’t get the issue fixed. They say that engineers are “actively” working on it but can’t say what they’re doing or give any updates on it. And as long as engineers are “actively” working on it, they won’t send a replacement. These engineers have been working on this bug for a couple months, so it seems like this is Fitbit’s loophole to not give customers a refund/replacement.
seems like calling customer service and contacting Fitbit through their phones is doing the trick. Looks like it’s about time to take this to social media so that they might feel the pressure to do something more.

I have the heartrate workign real well now; my advice is set the band so that you can just get your little finger in under the strap - that seems to be optimum tightness.
For those having trouble syncing, I found that setting Sync to 'All Day Sync' had no effect on my battery but makes it sync real well.
The other thing I found that really made a difference is that the heartbeat icon on the 2nd screen down from the clock has a ring around it that conveys where you are relative to max heartrate. For example, if the ring extends around into the 12-3 o'clock quadrant you are in cardio. This is very useful feedback and my exercise has improved a load since I started reading that.

Mine still isn't working. Hopefully I will get a new fitness tracker for Christmas. NOT a Fitbit!! Very Very disappointed and what a waste of money.

I originally had the fit bit versa (incredible). The first one I ever had lasted 3+ days without charging and then it just died on me one day. Fit bit replaced it with another versa but this one from the get-go had battery issues. It dies at the end of each day. My response was to buy the Fit Bit Inspire HR. Talk about disappointing. The heart monitor doesn't work regardless of where I put it on my wrist, it doesn't track my sleep (except for one night) and it doesn't have the alarm. I'm instead going back to the versa which dies every day.
