It's a little hard to explain but is anyone else having issues with the Inspire HR's sensitivity? It constantly starts workouts, breathing exercises, and timers without me doing anything at all except go through my regular day to day activities. Touching the screen by mistake is extremely easy and getting out of some of the menus you end up in is actually a bit confusing (I know pressing the button is how you get back but it's not always the only thing you need to do).
Basically it's become an annoyance more than a helpful device. I bought it because it felt way more comfortable than the Alta HR and Charge 3 (I've owned many Fitbit devices over the past 3 years) but sadly I'm disappointed with it so far, especially with the battery issues it's having as well.

Hi @dany_r, nice to see you around. Thanks for reaching out the Forums!
We really appreciate the time that you've taken in order to do some research about the sensitivity of Fitbit Inspire HR. We really appreciate the feedback. As this is a new device, we're still getting information about how users feel with its features. I can see that you really like Fitbit products, thanks for choosing our devices for the past years.
I'll pass this information along with our team. In the meantime, I'd suggest to turn off the Screen Wake when you're not using your Fitbit. You can press and hold the button on Inspire HR for a faster way to access to settings.
I've noticed that you had an interaction with our support team, please try the suggested steps and keep communication open about the battery issues that you're having. If you need me to open a new case for you, please let me know.
I'll be around.

I think screen sensitivity is becoming a relevant topic. I opened another thread with this very issue, as the light of the band wakes me up at night (I’m very sensible to the light). I deactivated the auto on on the screen but the screen keeps lightning up randomly. If this is not addressed soon, I’m moving to a different band

Thanks Alex!
Surprisingly that one hasn't been an issue for me but can totally see how they could be related. At times, my screen would also slide down very slightly when I looked at the time without me touching it. There could be a larger problem with the screen that encompasses all these issues it seems...If you find out any more info or solutions let me know!

This is happening to me as well. I can just be sitting in class, glance at the time, then it could start an exercise log or guided breathing. When I try to press the button and go back, my FitBit has a lot of trouble getting back to the clock face. Looking back on my day today, there were too many logged exercises of 15 seconds or less, which is about how long it took me to realize it was logging "exercise" again without me noticing.
Another huge thing is the lag- when I try to swipe, it either doesn't respond, it moves a little bit but doesn't switch to the next thing, or it switches to the next thing but then immediately goes back to what I was on before. This is incredibly inconvenient and I've decided against using my FitBit in many circumstances because I don't want to deal with the annoyances of the lag.

Also to be noted: I did try and restart my fitbit. It didn't fix anything.

I am also experiencing lag with my Inspire HR - it does not move smoothly between the different screens when I swipe - sometimes it doesn't move at all, or jutters weirdly between two of them! It looks absolutely awful when it happens, and is pretty annoying.
It happens much worse when I am moving around (walking or just moving arm around).

You explained the exact issue much better than I did. That is exactly what's happening to me. I reset it and it didn't do anything either 😞 I'm a bit disappointed and kind of want to re-buy the Alta HR which was so reliable (I just disliked how bulky it felt).

Also having huge issues. 4th day I’ve had the device and I’ve had to charge it twice. I wear long sleeves at my work and just the sleeve touching the screen is enough to turn the screen on and start swiping through settings. Wish I could lock the screen so nothing can wake it while it still tracks my steps. First Fitbit device I’ve owned and I’m disappointed. About to return it.

Ugh, that sucks. Same issue I was having too. I ended up returning it as I found this issue along with the poor battery life to be too inconvenient. I ended up re-buying another Alta HR 😕
Too bad cause the design for this tracker was great. Good luck!

Sad to conclude that everything described in this thread sums up my Fitbit Inspire HR experience, and that Fitbit doesn’t seems to have a solution for these issues 😞

Sadly I feel the same way. I was
so excited for the inspire HR but I can’t even use the sleep tracker because even thought I turned off the wake it still turns on at night and wakes me up! Plus it also has these weird things Happening during the day randomly.

Fitbit inspire HR is tracking activity when I am not moving. I see this is a real problem. Had the Charge HR before and was able to adjust it. Why can't I adjust the sensitivity on this as well. REALLY ANNOYING!! I am thinking of bringing it back and telling my friends not to buy it. Guys, this really needs to be fixed!!!

Have any plans been made to improve this? The last hardware update has made things significantly worse for me. It's constantly flashing and buzzing on my wrist - it really isn't good enough from such a reputable brand. Screen wake is off (apart from when it turns itself back on to just drain the battery) and have done a hard reset several times. Please help!
