Inspire HR adding 25,000 steps while sleeping

Yesterday my Fitbit showed 25K steps at 3AM. Today it showed 35K because it was adding yesterday's steps to today's. I'm finding it hard to know and trust that I'm actually meeting my goals with this problem. Any solutions?

I can't find anything called fitness settings.

Hello @Tlzt, welcome to the community forums! Thank you for the information!

If by any chance you also enable MobileTrack, I recommend disabling it and allow only the data tracked by your Fitbit device to be synced. It could be possible that MobileTrack can interfere with your data.

To disable MobileTrack, please do the following:

  1. Go to your Fitbit account.
  2. Tap on your profile picture/image
  3. Scroll down to find "MobileTrack" and tap on the 3 dots on the right side.
  4. Tap "Unpair"

After this, please keep an eye on the behavior. If the inconvenience persists, I also recommend following these steps. In addition, please perform a restart by doing the steps here.

On a side note, I've moved your post to another thread to keep our forums organized.

Hope this helps!

I did the unpairing thing you suggested but it didn't work. It seems to be adding steps every time I might my hand. It hasn't done that (as much) in the past. I had 10K steroids by 11AM. Now I wonder if I've really been getting as many steps as I thought I was 🙁

Any other suggestions?
