Inspire HR exercise shortcuts not syncing correct

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi

I have an issue with my brand new inspire hr.

It only syncs one shortcut correct. It had Run swim bike and so on in the phone app. On the phone app it said Run, pilates, pilates, pilates...

I have restarted the app to get it to sync. Didn't work.

I deleted all shortcuts and added just one.. Walk. That seemed to work. Only Walk was available on the device. Then I added swim and bike. And synced again. Surprise.. Available on the device is now walk, pilates, pilates.

Both device and app are updated.

Device firmware ver. 34.20001. 63.5

Fitbit app ver 3.5 Android on a Huawei p30 pro.

I don't do pilates. Please help.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @KristineG. I'll be happy to assist you with your exercise shortcuts not syncing correctly inquiry. Thank you for describing the steps you have followed in order to solve this situation.

I would recommend restarting your Inspire HR and then following these steps again:

  1. Tap the Today tab

     > your profile picture > your device image.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts.
  3. To add a new exercise shortcut, tap the + icon and select an exercise.
  4. To remove an exercise shortcut, swipe left on a shortcut (on Windows 10, tap the trashcan icon).
  5. To reorder an exercise shortcut, press and hold a shortcut, then drag it up or down to change its position.
  6. Sync your device.

Let me know how it goes.

That's what I did. Did not work. I solved it myself though. I reset the device completely to factory settings. Removed it from the app. And started over. That worked.

My  workaround on Inspire HR was selecting Settings>Clear User Data, then press display for 3 s. And That's it. Shortcuts are now correct.

I was having issues with the exercises I selected in order appearing correctly on my Inspire HR. I followed the post above and left my Inspire on the charger (not sure if that made the difference), went into the app and deleted all but one exercise. Then I slowly started to add the exercises I wanted in the order I wanted them to appear on the watch. It worked.
