Inspire HR losing charge quickly

I noticed over the last few weeks, my fitbit is not holding a charge. I normally charge it about twice a week but recently I've had to charge it daily. I can start my day at 100% and by the end of the day it's below 35%. I changed all my settings and turned off insignificant notifications without any improvement. I've had it about 1.5 years now. Any advice? What's the lifetime of these?

I came here looking to see if anyone else is having this issue.. I haven't even had mine a year yet and my battery is dead within the time of me wearing it to bed and waking up the next morning 😞

I had this same problem about a month ago and a year before that with the Flex 2. My current Inspire lasted 13 months until it got to the point I had to charge it twice a day (it went from 80% to 20% in four hours). Here's what I did to fix it. (Sorry if it's a little long-winded)

First, clean the Fitbit and the charger with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then start charging the Fitbit. I then completely reset the device (settings -> clear user data) and unpaired it from the Fitbit app. Here's the critical step that no one ever suggests, but that worked for me when my Flex 2 gave out: delete and re-download the Fitbit app. After that, I cleared the user data one more time (just to be safe) then set up the Fitbit as if it was brand-new; pairing it with my phone, adjusting the settings, and so on.

I don't know how or why this works, but it has for me on two different trackers and two different phones. I really hope it works for you.

Yea I think mine went kaput. The hr monitor light won't come on and after about 30 minutes if trying it won't sync to my phone and my time is way off 😅😅 I got as far as the 4 digit code but that's it.

Did you lose all your data? I'm in a challenge and would prefer not to lose my data. But if it's the only way that works, I'll do it. I'm not even winning in my challenge because I it dies so often during the day 😕

As long as you sync the Fitbit before you clear the data, you should be fine. As for app data, that is bound to your account, not the app itself. You should therefore be able to sign in after re-downloading it with everything looking the same. (Don't hold me to that, though; I was not in a challenge when I did this.)
