Inspire HR not syncing

Worked perfectly the first day, but by the next, my phone can't find the fitbit even though they are right next to each other. Location, bluetooth, syncing and good Wi-Fi all turned on but still can't find it.

Hi @RosieL01 nice to see you here, welcome. Thanks for reporting the syncing issues with your Inspire.

 

You can check the following requirements and troubleshoot this:

 

Requirements for a successful synchronization:

  • The Fitbit app is installed on a supported phone or tablet. 
  • The latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone or tablet. 
  • For Android phones: to help improve the delivery, go to Notifications and make sure Enable Notification Widget is on. If you recently updated the Fitbit app, reboot your mobile device and try setting up notifications again.
  • Make sure the Do Not Disturb setting on your mobile device is turned off because it prevents the device from sending notifications to your tracker.
  • The software on your mobile device is updated. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update iOS for Android  Settings > About phone > Android Version.
  • The Bluetooth setting on your mobile device is on. To check, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  • If you use more than one Bluetooth phone, tablet, or computer to sync, the other one isn't nearby (or has Bluetooth disabled).
  • Your tracker's battery should be fully charged.

 

If the syncing issue remains, I would recommend following the steps below:

 

  1. Force quit the App and turn off your phone
  2. Open Fitbit App, go to Account (upper right corner) > Delete Fitbit tracker from the Account
  3. Open the Bluetooth Setting on your phone and delete Fitbit Inspire from there too
  4. Reboot Bluetooth to make sure your Fitbit is not there
  5. Restart your Fitbit a couple of times and Access back to Fitbit App > Account to set up your Fitbit tracker back
  6. Turn on notifications
