Hi @SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the issue that the side button of your Inspire HR has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums.
Please try cleaning around the button with a toothpick in order to remove any moisture or dust that may be affecting the functionality of the button. After this, press the button for 10 seconds and see if it works properly.
