Inspire HR stopped working

My device stopped working just now during the night. Intermittent vibrating which woke me. Won't sync. Numerous attempts to restart failed apart from occasional appearance of smiley face. Purchased in April. No previous problems. Worked last night. No accidental damage to device. Seen various forum posts with similar problems all indicating that it had to be replaced. Assume still in warranty. Unsure what to do next. Grateful for help.

Their phone number is (877)623-4997 between the hours of 4am-8pm PST Mon-Fri, and 6am-5pm PST on weekends, if you're in the USA.
