Hi @Gilscout12165 welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing your question.
I'm glad to see that you got your heart rate back. If you have issues with your heart rate in the future you can check these instructions: How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
Please restart your Fitbit Inspire HR, this will help your Fitbit to track steps again.
If your Fitbit device connects to GPS, we can provide a more precise estimate of your score using the relationship between pace and heart rate during your runs. This is because individuals with higher VO2 Max have a lower heart rate while running at the same pace compared to individuals with lower VO2 Max. If you're able to run at a comfortable pace for at least 10 minutes, track a run with GPS. We recommend running on flat terrain as much as possible since only the flat sections of your run count towards your score estimate. You may need to go on several runs that are at least 10 minutes in length to affect your score.
For instructions on how to start in the Exercise app, see How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?
I'll be around, keep me posted on the resolution.

My Inspire HR is SO WEIRD! 🙂 So, it stopped beeping incessantly (thank goodness - I had to take it off and put it in my purse when this would happen). And now, it seems to be working as it should, no more tracking something I didn't ask for (pace... hours???) It really was annoying. Happily, it seems to have returned to normal, and I have no idea how. Also, it seems to have returned to normal with the battery as well. I guess it was using up a lot of battery when it was doing the endless tracking... I hope my experience helps you folks to know what is going on and stop it from doing these things. I use mine mostly for steps, my heart rate, and my sleep pattern.
