can someone please help me in disabling the calorie burned estimation, I see posts and directions from years ago that people have done this but I cant seem to figure it out. I really don't like this setting especially when I wake up and see that 600 calories have "been burned" I really want to disable it.

Any calories burn amount on Fitbit, or anywhere other than in a precisely-controlled exercise lab, is an estimate.  But I expect what you want to turn off is BMR (basal metabolic rate) calorie burn.  That cannot be turned off, and as far as I know it never could.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
