I'm having the exact same problem. When I woke up it displayed the LOW BATTERY icon when I tried to check the time. So I charged it. After charging, display will not light on short or long press. Long press still vibrates, it syncs to app and app shows it has full charge.

I have had the same problem today. I reset the clock face using the app and now it is working. I think whatever update was done to the app and the clock faces, removed the one I was using. Selecting a new clock seems to have fixed the issue.

Help... looked at all the posts and still can't get the screen to light up.  Any new ideas?

Whenever I've had this problem (which is far too often), it just seems to clear up on it's own... eventually. It just wants attention, and if you stop fussing with it eventually it will stop misbehaving.

Sorry I no longer own the Inspire and not longer have a Fitbit account.

FitBit honestly sucks. I've had nothing but problems with multiple products (I've had the Zip, Charge HR, and now I have the Inspire) since I started using FitBit in 2015. Issues usually "magically" fix themselves, which isn't a solution.... and FitBit support is the worst. SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Your tip worked to connect to charger and log press side button for at least 5 seconds, but I had to press for 30 seconds then the screen lit up.

I’m having the same problem. I even tried to restart the app on inspire by connecting to charger, but cannot scroll since it vibrates back to time. Very frustrating.
have done the hold for 5 secs but not working.

I had the same issue with the Inspire and none of the above worked. I held down the side button for a second and the current charge level and a lightbulb icon appeared. My lightbulb was dim with a line through it. On scrolling, it appears I had accidentally turned off screen wake. Tapping it turned it back on.
