Fitbit announced that you should be able to track irregular heartbeat by enrolling via Assessments but I have nothing under this option. Anyone with the Inspire 2 have this option yet or is it not perhaps rolled out to our model yet?

Hi, @qtsam11 , this only started rolling out to users on 25 April, and only in the USA. Fitbit usually issues these updates in waves so that they can monitor any issues that arise it can take a month or sometimes even longer before all users have this new facility. But it will definitely be coming to Inspire 2 users in the US. It is always exciting when new features come, but it does sometimes require a little patience.

You have to get a premium subscription in order to use this. Its the same ole bait and switch from Fitbit they say its free but they force you add a credit card number.

There is nothing in the 9to5google article that says that this is premium feature.

Opened the app on my phone, seen a notification about the Afib feature, went to set it up (I'm in Canada)...button stayed grey, then notification disappeared.

@DeeInBCNorth and @JillianG as mentioned above this new feature will initially only be available in the US. Other countries will follow pending regulatory approval.

I just got a prompt o my Versa 3 app that it is available. I accepted and did not need to attach a credit card. It will take a few nights for it to kick in I understand.

Hi,
Yes, I got the option a few hours ago but I was not able to activate it. I have had AFib in the past and since I answered the question honestly I got a return message that said I was not eligible. I had an Ablation last year to put me back to normal. I plan on sending a complaint because even tho I normal now it would be good to know if it gets out of wack again

I live in Canada and have an Inspire 2 running Version 20001.124.28. I haven't seen an option for Afib when I follow Discover > Assessments & Reports. When I follow the instructions online to get to the Afib option, I see only an option for Wellness Reports, and not what I've seen pictured for this screen elsewhere. Guess it is still not available in Canada?

Hi everyone.
Thanks for adding your comments and feedback about this new feature.
Irregular Rhythm Notifications are available on Fitbit Inspire 2 running firmware version 20001.98.14 or higher. The Fitbit app requires iOS 13 or higher or Android 8.0 or higher. For additional information on device compatibility with the Fitbit app, see fitbit.com/global/us/technology/compatible-devices. Note that the Fitbit Irregular Rhythm Notifications is only available in select locations at this time. Additional devices & countries will be added as regulatory clearance is obtained. See fitbit.com/irregular-rhythm for additional details.
Our team is aware some members in unsupported regions received a notification in-app that the new Irregular rhythm notifications (Afib PPG) feature is available to them, even though it is not. This has been fixed and non-supported languages shouldn't receive this prompt anymore.
