I bought the Fitbit Inspire 2 in August 2023, when the Amazon Halo band discontinued. I loved the Amazon Halo band; never had any issues with it.
This Inspire 2 Fitbit has given me issues since I got it. This includes not tracking steps, losing data (food tracking, water tracking, etc.), not letting me back into the app, glitching completely.
My current issue is that my lifetime steps are not updating/increasing on the friends list. That component is supposed to be there as a motivation and to have some friendly competition with friends. If that doesn’t work then what is the point of connecting with friends. I can see it updated when I log into my dashboard from my laptop. Not on the app on my iPhone.
I have done a ton of research and still haven't had any luck.
I have tried to syncing my device and phone, updating the app, logging out of the app, uninstalling the app, updating my entire phone, reinstalling the app, logging back in, I went through every setting in privacy to make sure my friends can see and every bs suggestion.
I am STILL having issues. And at this point am completely fed up with even trying with this janky device. I really want it to work though so if anybody at all ca
