Logging exercise

Hi folks, I see on the app there is the option to log any exercise activity and the duration. I’m how does this work with regards to how many calories burned? If I log the exercise it will deduct the calories burned but then while I’m doing the activity it monitors heart rate etc and will show this in calories burned also? If I log the exercise then wear my Fitbit while doing the exercise will it deduct the calories burned twice if see what I mean? Thanks 😊

Logging exercise is meant primarily for when you were not wearing the tracker.  If you were wearing it, the calories, steps, etc are tracked in real time.  But if you then log a workout for when you were wearing it, that usually leads to confusion.  Manually logging it overrides the data that was collected real-time and instead uses whatever parameters you used when logging it.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
