No message notifications Inspire HR

I purchased an Inspire HR back in June 2020 and it's been brilliant, but I got a new iPhone SE at the weekend and I just can't get the notifications to work properly. My fitbit will vibrate and show phonecalls but not messages. I also used to be able to sync to Facebook Messenger and that won't happen now either. Tried resetting both Fitbit and phone, bluetooth on/off, app deleted and redownloaded, and nothing works. All info syncs perfect from Fitbit to phone. Please help!

Hi A3OS,

I'm assuming you had a different phone and the notifications were working on that phone. I'm also going to assume that the notifications are just not working on your new phone, but please correct me if either of these assumptions are incorrect.

If the assumptions are correct however, the first step I would like to try and correct the issue for you would be to make sure you have re-elected your default notifications correctly. This can be done by opening the Fitbit app. Tapping on your profile picture. Selecting your device from the device list. Selecting Notifications. Once you have done that you should see the screen below:

Please confirm you have selected the correct default applications for each of the headings (Text Messages - Calendar Events - Emails)

Once this is complete you can select the last heading (App Notifications). This will populate a list of all the applications on your phone. Select the apps you wish to receive notifications from and then head back to the main window of the Fitbit app and force a manual sync.

This should fix the problem. If it doesn't or my assumptions above were incorrect please reply to this thread and I will try to help you further.
