Hi All, I’m new to Fitbit and just wanted to ask a question. On the first night I received a sleep score and details on which type of sleep I was in and for how long. However the last 2 nights my Fitbit has tracked my sleep but has only told me how long I have been awake / restless for and not gone into detail about sleep stages or a score. Is that normal?

Hello @Rach-c and a warm welcome. From your description, the past two nights gave you simple sleep patterns. Your sleep tracking needs to give the sleep stages in order to get a sleep score. If you tap on one of the days where you got no score, does your app give you an explanation of why you got sleep patterns instead of sleep stages? As an example, if you take a short nap, the message will say you need to sleep for more than three hours to get sleep stages. A common reason to get sleep patterns is inconsistent heart rate tracking during sleep. Sometimes you get no good reason.
I suggest you take a look at this Help article about sleep stages. There is a section that talks about getting sleep patterns instead of stages.
You can also try restarting your Inspire HR. Here is a link to the Inspire HR Manual. It might help you learn more details about your Inspire HR, so you can use it to its fullest.

My sleep data has been off for weeks now, but today was particularly egregious. Only 3 mins restless/awake! Ha. The graph looked right, but the numbers are off.

Mine did the same thing. Did you figure this out?

I found that if my band is too loose, I don't get a sleep score. The band needs to be tight enough so the fit bit doesn't lose skin contact. I have an infinity. Posted 4/21/2020
