hi my inspire hr is not automatically recording intense exercises. I have made the changes which have been stated in other posts and it is still not working.
I don't want to manually add my workouts- the main reason I got a fitbit was to record my workouts and see the calories burned during these workouts.
Also workouts that have been recording- calories burned are very inaccurate. stating that only approx. 120-170 calories have been burned..... during an hours boxing session a minimum would be 400 cals- has been evidenced by others fitbits...
Can you please advise if my fitbit is faulty? or how to correct this.
thanks

Nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums @jkevans58, let me give you a warm welcome to our community.
Thank you for checking other post about similar situations. Sorry to hear those steps didn't help with the accuracy of your workouts. Did you try to restart your Fitbit? It will help your Fitbit in case that it is having hardware issues.
If you think that your calories burned aren't being accurate you can confirm that the personal information you entered when you set up your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) is correct. For more information, see How do I manage my Fitbit profile?
You can read more about how Fitbit calculate calories burned here: How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned?
If you don't want to manually log your Boxing sessions you can use the option "Workout"or "Kickboxing" on your Fitbit Inspire. Add up to 7 exercises to the shortcuts list. For more information, see Can I reorder the exercises on my Fitbit device?
I'd like to mention that SmartTrack automatically recognizes workouts or activities where there is continuous, but it won't recognize this type of exercise.
This workouts include:
Active minutes will increase the amount of calories burned during your workouts. You earn active minutes for activities at or above about 3 METs. To stay in line with the Center for Disease Control's (CDC’s) “10 minutes at a time is fine” concept, minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate-to-intense activity. You can view the CDC’s recommendations on the CDC website. You will find more details about this here: What are active minutes?
Keep me posted on the resolution.

The same thing happens to me. Today my Fitbit says I had 29 minutes of "intense activity," but it also failed to record any "exercise" today. This is annoying. Like the person who posted above, I don't want to have to make manual adjustments on my Fitbit.
Fitbit, please fix this!
