Not responding to taps or button, cannot reset

My inspire is almost a month old (5/12/19) and it is not responding to button pushes or screen taps/swipes. The 5 second hold while charging reset does not work.

Steps appear accurate. It seems to be tracking everything and it's syncing alright, just not responding on the device.

Backdoor fix: I changed the clock face and synched again. All fixed!

Not sure why it was stuck in the first place but it's working now.

  • With your device nearby, in the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab

     > your profile picture > your device image.
  • Tap Clock Faces  > All Clocks.
  • Browse the available clock faces. Tap the clock face you want and tap Select to install it.
  • Sync your device to see the change

I am unable to get beyond the Fitbit Ivón. Just changed from blue to white, after it buzzes. Nothing else

Thanks for the clock-face change hack, it worked for me!

My Fitbit Inspire HR was frozen and only showed the smiley face when attempting to reset, every reset attempt failed.

I saw your post and gave it a shot. The clock-face changed and then I noticed that there was a update that never finished, I think this was the why my Fitbit was frozen.

I hooked up to the charger and I finished that update and I also updated to the latest firmware.

It's all working, thanks for passing on the info.
