Notifications no longer working

My fitbit Inspire quit having notifications.  I was on the phone with fitbit customer service who tried to be helpful, but ultimately said fitbit isn't working with the new Apple IOS.  There is no time frame for when it will be fixed.  Why weren't we notified that this was an issue?

I was told by Fitbit today that since apple updated the iOS the
notifications no longer work with inspire hr. Apparently it is still
working with other versions. They are ‘working very hard to solve the
issue’. I may return
Mine since I’ve only had it a few weeks. Or we can wait until it’s fixed. I
think letting Fitbit know you aren’t pleased is also a good option.

I googled it and the quick fix it told me to do solved my problem!

I spent 30 minutes with tech support, performing a variety of ‘solutions ‘.
Nothing worked. Could you send me a link for your successful google search?
