Notifications not working Inspire HR

I can't get notifications on my new Inspire HR. My Fitbit app shows an error message saying I need to restart my phone. I've enabled permissions, restarted three times. I restarted my Fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled my app and unpaired and re-paired it on Bluetooth.

 

My phone is a Xiaomi Redmi 4x on an Android 7.1.2 N2G47H. I know this isn't a supported device but is there any way I can get notifications working?

Hi @MeganDyamond As it is not a supported phone, all you can do is try all the suggestions in THIS  Help Article on notifications. Good luck!
