Same issue. No replies yet ☹️
Same here... got the Fitbit just for a sleep tracker too!
Best AnswerI noticed the same thing today.
The icon is there but it is greyed out. And it has those two dash marks under it.
It used to work, but it's been days since the last time I saw it before today.
I did do a reset on the Inspire today, early in the morning, because I had my Android Phone for repair and everything was factory reset there, so I had to re-pair Inspire with my phone after I set it up again, so maybe I'll wait for one more night to see if it will still show as "disabled / greyed out" tomorrow.
UPDATE:
I read some other topics about this issue on the forums and did the following steps. I have no idea which one of these fixed it, actually. You could do all of them (no harm) and see:
- I soft reset the band 3 times.
- I went into the android app and enabled notifications. It seems that after the changes on my phone (due to it's factory reset) the notifications had been disabled. So I enabled them and did a Test Call Notification, also.
- I disabled and enabled again GPS. Did this on web dashboard as well as on the Inspire itself (go to settings to do this)
- I went to the web dashboard and switched the sleep tracking from sensitive to normal and then again to sensitive.
- I also switched the wrist to non-dominant and then again to dominant (I'm wearing it on my dominant hand).
It seems that one of these actually kind of waked the band up and the sleep icon is enabled again.
Best AnswerI tried all your suggestions thanks but unfortunately none made it work for me. I have just done the update to the Inspire and that didn't made a difference either. My daughrer-in-law received an identical Inspire HR for Christmas and her sleep icon isn't working on the Inspire either. I emailed support and received a reply. I followed all their instructions, which included updating the Fitbit app, but they haven't made the icon work either. Waiting now to see if I get a reply email with more instructions.
