received my Inspire, set it up with my account and removed my old device from the account. It is recognizing by bluetooth is connected. Every time I try to sync for the last 4 days it does one of two things. 1) does not sync. 2) syncs- everything appears but if you close the app and reopen no data had been recorded its just blank for the day.
What am I doing wrong? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. unpairing and repairing with my bluetooth. Ive gone through all the troubleshooting I can find.

Hi @RoxanneP, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here. To better assist you with this and further investigate, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Ricardo,
I am actually using my laptop, its where Ive always had the app and synced, it is a PC. I received the Inspire in the mail on 7/10, it did sync when I set it up, with no problems. Since then it has not recorded any data. It has told me that it synced twice, on separate days, but it did not record the information. I have already checked out the two pages that you linked trying to figure this out myself.
So to answer your questions.
Im using a PC laptop.
First time I experienced this problem was on 7/11- at least 2 times a day and every day since then.
Thanks for your time,
Roxanne

Hi again, I reviewed all the troubleshooting again. I think the reason it synced on 7/10 is that I still had my dongle plugged in from my Fitbit One (I severely miss the One). My bluetooth says that it is connected, with no other devises. I also have the charger plugged into the laptop. I have once again uninstalled and reinstalled the app. The app is now saying bonding failed- this is the first time that has shown.
thanks

Hi @RoxanneP your most recent posts were put in this thread where Moderator @RicardoFitbit has already been helping you. When you post in several areas, it's harder to get all the information in one thread to help you.
The device pairs to the email address, not your bluetooth. Click to read how to set up. It never hurts to read it again, just in case a step was missed. What computer do you have and which operating system does it use? The more information you provide RIcardo, the better to assist you.

Hi Odyssey13, So I dont need my bluetooth on for my Inspire to sync and record? Now im even more lost.
Im on Windows 10.
I never had this kind of problem with my Fitbit One- I miss it so much. it would sometimes stop syncing and I would just restart it and had no problems.
its been 8 days now and im getting more and more frustrated every day, its not personal.

@RoxanneP people really loved the One and I never had one of them, but wish I had! Bluetooth is needed to sync the data from your device to the Fitbit servers. You don't pair the Fitbit to the bluetooth, as you would with other devices, such as headphones.

@Odyssey13 thanks for replying. I just de-installed and re-installed the app again and in the process of going through all the steps to make sure I did not overlook anything.

@Odyssey13 gave up with my laptop where I have had it for the last 6 years, and where I want it to be. Installed the app on my phone and got it to sync. Only yesterday and todays steps have shown up. July 11-16 are still blank. What could cause a partial sync?

I having a similar problem. I only brought the InspireHR a week ago. Says it is sync but the heart rate is static just showing resting rate. Was working fine uptill today. I want to sent it back to amazon.

It looks as though they had aProblem and they fixed it in the exercise. But they still haven’t fixed the static resting heart rate. Also all day sink is having problems which may attribute to the reason the resting heart rate is static in your app. Sounds like they’re working on it
