The Inspire HR screen is flashing

Hello, My Inspire HR screen has started flashing. I could only get a restart when I put it on the charger and it did restart and I got the smiley face but that didn't fix the problem. Then I successfully changed the clock face and it is still flashing. Other things to try?

Thank you for sharing with me this inquiry regarding the Inspire HR. Also thank you for trying to fix it on your own. 

Please, make sure of the following:

Sync the device in the Fitbit app.

1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
2. Choose the device they want to sync.
3. Tap Sync Now 

Check for available Firmware updates.

1. With the Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app: Make sure the Fitbit device is charged.
2. Tap the Today tab > Devices > your device.
3. Tap Update (This option only appearse if an update is available).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions: Keep the device close to your phone during the update. 
5. When the update starts, a progress bar appears on the device and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete. 

Charge the Inspire HR: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port. (computer or UL-certified wall charger).

Hello, I synced my Fitbit and there were no updates. I restarted my device and I changed the clock face. When I use the button on the side to see the time, the screen will continue to flash on and on for a period of time, about 2 mins and then will turn off.

Finally my Fitbit is no longer flashing. None of the above seemed to work but after a few days, the flashing has stopped.
