Trying to replace Fitbit One with Inspire 2

I purchased an Inspire 2 and might be regretting it.  I have had a One since 2012 and now upgrading...at least that was the plan.  I am trying to connect it to my Android phone and it never is found.  I've rebooted it by pressing the side button for 10+ seconds but it is never found.  

 

As I read through this forum, I'm thinking I made a big mistake.  With all the issues I'm seeing, I'm beginning to think Fitbit has abandoned this device (oops, we made a mistake and will redesign it with a "3" version...third time's a charm).  Is there anyone who has successfully connected an Inspire 2 by replacing another device?

Forget this post.  It's an Inspire HR and not an Inspire 2.  ID10T error...
