Unable to Update Device

Hi Fitbit Team,

I've seen countless topics regarding this problem, none of them providing a working solution for my case.

I have the same issue as described in most of those topics - device is starting the update, then just stopping for unknown reasons during the process.

What I did:

  • Restart the Fitbit, restart my phone
  • Un-pair the Fitbit and re-pair it
  • Checked if my Phone (Pixel 3) is on the supported devices list - it is
  • Tried to do the update from a different device - my brand new Dell XPS Laptop running the latest version of Win 10

What's also wrong with my Fitbit Inspire HR:

  • Overcounting steps like crazy (which is making it literally useless if you are trying to shape up, achieve goals and improve on those goals)
  • BT connection to phone is very unreliable (syncing takes up to 10 minutes if at all)
  • Crazy battery drains from time to time dropping it from 90% to 20% within minutes

Thanks for your time!
