Hi there. I just upgraded to an Inspire 2 and every 3 minutes I get a water lock notification… I don’t even swim. I take it off when doing the dishes and showering. How can I turn it off!??!

Hello @Treebones22

You can prevent unintended button presses by turning on your Button Lock in the Settings app (gear wheel) on your Inspire 2. It’s useful to prevent the buttons on your tracker from activating while your screen is off. You can also use the bottom lock setting to avoid unintended button presses while you exercise, especially if you wear Inspire 2 lower on your wrist or you tighten the band to be extra snug.

😃 I hope this provides you the best answer for your accidentally water lock prompt issue. Please let me know

@Treebones22   Fitbit added the button lock to help fix its terrible design.  Fitbit says you should activate the button lock if you wear it too low on your wrist.  You need to do this even when you follow the recommendations.  Using the button lock also uses more battery.  I can’t tell you by how much — the screen is so hard to read in sunlight and the font is so small that my best answer was to return this flawed device.

I hope you have better luck.

If you put your Fitbit on your ankle when you ride your spin bike, then you just don’t get it.
