fitbit thinks it's 12/18/2021

Recently, I cleared my user data on my fitbit. I did it using the fitbit itself and now, it just says "Download or update the fitbit app to set up" with the date under it being "2021-12-18". I do have the fitbit app and it is updated to the most recent version. My phone is also connected to my fitbit via bluetooth. I am unable to swipe or see the time or use any of the basic functions, all I see is "Download or update the fitbit app to set up". Is there any way to fix this? I tried resetting it using the 5 second method, but it didn't reset. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but it still didn't work. Do I have to create a new account?

Seeing as 'Clear User Data' is meant for when giving it to another person, it sounds to me like you should just be "the other person".  Just be logged into phone app in same account, then Add a Device and see if it lets you add the Inspire 2.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
