inspire HR

I have 3 issues.  My inspire HR was not syncing.  I tried several times (using the suggestions provided on the website) but nothing worked.  the time on my Inspire HR is not correct.  The Fitbit app on my phone shows number of calories in the "circle" rather than steps like it used to.

Hi, @r2m , this is actually two issues - if your Fitbit will not sync, the time will not be kept accurate and up to date.  If you solve the sync problem, you can solve the time issue.

 

Since you do not say what steps you have tried it is a little difficult to advise you,  ut if you have tried the restart (a usual first step), toggling bluetooth off on your phone, logging out of the app and logging back in again you might try setting it up as a replacement device.

 

On your app click on your account (that’s the person icon on top left).  On the next page scroll down to + set up a device and from the drop down list choose Inspire HR.  You will get a message saying that there is already an Inspire HR connected to your account; do you want to replace it?  Confirm that you do and follow the instructions from there.  That will usually force a sync.  Please do NOT remove the Inspire HR from your account first as that iften creates more problems than it solves.

 

As for the calories in the big circle on the home screen instead of steps, your “main goal” is what is displayed in that circle, so it looks like your goal has somehow got changed.  To solve this, on your app click on your account icon (as above) then on your Inspire HR.  There you will find “main goal”.  Make sure it is set to steps.

thanks for the info.  I ended up calling someone to help me through the whole process to get it working again.   However several things you said were helpful to me.  Thank you!
