Hello @jane783 and welcome to the Help forums. To clarify, you say you have the Inspire, not the Inspire HR or the Inspire 2. The Inspire doesn't have an exercise app or connected GPS, so that is not your issue. The Inspire tracks certain exercises using SmartTrack. One of my observations is that SmartTrack will give you your steps, but doesn't give a distance for any of the activities in the exercise details. Your treadmill miles should be part of your daily total.
I have never found a Fitbit explanation for this. But I have a suspicion. Sometimes SmartTrack will misidentify the exercise. Your Inspire does a steps x stride length for distance. The programming to correct every possible combination is overwhelming. But like I said, that distance will be part of your daily total.
