I have a Charge 2 and an Inspire HR. Got the 2nd device so I could have one to wear while the other was recharging. What's the best way to manage them to get maximum life from the devices? When not wearing a device, I see no way to "turn it off". Is it OK to leave a device on the charger for extended periods - over a week - while it waits its turn?

Hi, @LuckyBob , the jury is out on that one. Probably the absolute best way of managing is to unplug the charger not in use once it is fully charged and then topping it up again before you swap devices. However, that can be a little tedious, and hard to remember.
I often swap between Fitbits and do exactly as you say - leave the one I am not using on the charger until I want to use it. I have heard that this is not best practice, but it does not seem to have caused any significant ill effects. I have a Fitbit about 4 years old that spends a lot of time on the charger and still is going fine.
The alternative of frequently letting the battery die on your spare Fitbit is definitely NOT recommended. That can result in your Fitbit becoming unresponsive, and it is also a sure fire way of significantly reducing battery life.
So I would say either diligently keep both Fitbits at 30-80 % charge (best practice) or leave the spare one continuously charging while not in use (second best).
