Versa 2 how to change clock format to 24 hours. Instructions said go to advanced settings but I can't find the cog icon to get there

See How do I change to a 12 or 24 hour clock?   which I think you already did.

Did you note it is from the fitbit.com dashboard, not an app.  If so, you might have to scroll your screen right to see the gear icon.

 

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
