Activate Versa 2 auto pause

How do I activate auto pause for running,  I have it 'on' in the settings for exercise but it doesn't work , I have to press pause when running when I am stopped in traffic etc

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I recommend restarting your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device? Please also confirm if auto-pause is on before starting your workout:

1. On your device, open the Exercise app > Run.
2. Tap the gear icon in the top left.
3. Find Auto-Pause, and tap to change the setting.
4. Press the back button to return to the exercise screen.
5. Tap the play icon to start the workout.
