All of a sudden my active minutes are not matching my activity.  See photo.  I used the elliptical exercisefitbit active minutes issue.jpg

Active minutes don't always match the length of your exercise because they are based off of your heart rate.  It all depends on your workout intensity.

It does appear that you should have earned some active minutes, you spent most of your workout in the peak zone, so that's odd.  Have you tried resetting your device?

Here is more info re: active minutes.

I have tried resetting but the number for today does not change.

Related question - if I use Elliptical in Exercise how can I set it so it starts counting minutes right away?  I am actually actively choosing Elliptical and hitting start, not relying on auto-recognition.

Active minutes don't go off of your physical workout minutes.  It goes by your workout intensity and your heart rate, like I stated before.  No matter what you do, your active minutes will likely never line up with the actual start and end time of your workout.
