Active time

Just back from a 15km cycle and upon checking my fitbit app my cycle is logged but my active time is still at 11mins and my km done today is just what i done walking around the house during the morning does the cycling not count as time active or show as part of your km done in a day

Distance for the day - only from walking/steps; does not include cycling.

 

Active minutes - Active minutes have a precise definition other than just generally beinig active.  They require a certain level of intensity maintained continuously for at least 10 minutes.  If you stopped pedaling or coasted downhill a while, your heart rate might have dropped enough to not meet the criteria.

Thanks for your reply it would not of been an intense cycle as i had my 8 year old with me so it makes sense now that heart beat wouldnt have risen much to record
