Activity tracker and exercise not working

My Fitbit Versa has run perfectly until I tried syncing it with my phone 2 days ago.  I got a clock error message for which I changed my clock after having the same one for almost a year.  The message went away but anytime I swipe to check my steps or try to go to exercises the screen goes back to my home screen after a second.  I am not sure how to fix it.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the issue you're experiencing with your Versa's screen. Thank you for letting me know that the issue started after you changed the clock face. I recommend doing the following:

 

  1. Change the clock face again, switch to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
  2. Restart your device by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
