Alarm for waking up

The alarm to wake you up can use some improvements. It vibrates to wake you up, which is sooooo much better than hearing that annoying buzzer. The problem with the vibration is WAY too short and the snooze &/or off icons on the face are too sensitive. It’s MUCH too easy to accidentally touch the icons and turn your alarm off.  Prior to buying my Fitbit Versa I owned a Polar and the alarm on the Polar was great. It would continue to vibrate until you tapped the icon on the watch.  I feel that if the vibration stayed vibrating until the user turned the alarm off or hit the snooze icon would be a GREAT improvement.

Hello @Darrighi

I'm thinking if it kept vibrating, it would drain the battery. Maybe that's why the design engineers made it go into snooze mode for 9 minutes.

I disagree, eventually your sleeping self realizes what is happening and you wake up to snooze or turn off the alarm.

Thank you,

I have mine set to go off 40 minutes, every 10 minutes. It turns out that's a good idea, for me, as I rarely (if ever) notice the first and a lot of the time, second alarm. I just don't notice/feel the vibration. The last two work/I notice them (most of the time).  I'm not sleeping any deeper/lighter (according to my sleep chart) during the hour time frame that would fall into. So, I think working is someway, to lengthen the vibration would be a good idea. When I do notice/feel the vibration, it's a pretty good strength though.

The same can be said for the 'reminders to move'. I only notice/feel it once or twice the whole day (so it doesn't go off or I don't feel it) as according to the tiles, etc I'm only getting 1-2 hours a day that it SHOULDN'T be going off. So, stronger/longer vibrations would be great.

Then again I've had this problem going back to the Charge HR, which everybody raved about the alarm/vibration on, so could just be me.

I use the side buttons to snooze or turn off the alarm function. Easy to reach and feel for them without having to even open my eyes or become blinded by the light of the Fitbit.

Also, you can touch the snooze icon in the top right corner. I don't touch anything and it will alert me in 9 minutes when the snooze goes off.

I know you can touch it. I just don’t want to look at my screen in the dark so I choose to hit the buttons on the side to turn the alarm off or snooze it again.
