I have the iPhone 11 and the Versa 2 and the all day sync option is gone and won’t allow me to turn it on anymore. I have turned Bluetooth on and off and have uninstalled Fitbit app and reinstalled with no fix for either of those things I tried. Please help

Hi @Seannah, welcome to the community.

The All day sync option has been removed according to the following help article (here).

Why was the all-day sync option removed from the Fitbit app?

To improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life. To learn more about what factors affect battery life, see Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

This is the most frustrating thing! I mean, great, so they remove the option to all day sync... To preserve battery life. What about options as a user. I'd much rather have the option to disable all day sync, than to have to physically sync it during my workouts just to monitor my stats! Terrible idea! I remember the good old days when I could just keep the app opened on the elliptical and be able to see steps, heart rate, distance, time worked out. Yeah. Terrible idea that might even be a deal breaker for me! And I've been a customer for Many years, to include paying for premium!

I completely agree, this is so frustrating!!! I use the fit bit for a lot of different things (calendar, text message alerts, and all day monitoring stats). If I knew this was due to an update, I never would have updated. I am also really thinking about cancelling and stop using the fitbit. BAD MOVE FITBIT!

I'm all done with fitbit. Deleting the app. They started annoying me when they required location on to synch. This latest change is just stupid.

Maybe you didn't read the accepted solution post properly. They removed the option to remove all day sync. All day sync is still there, and you can't turn it off.

I'm heading out to my garage to smash my Fitbit as I am so pissed off.  This is my third Fitbit device and certainly my last.  I wish I could provide some quality feedback to the issues we all seem to be having but Fitbit's answer is to just come out with another pretty model.  Time to find another option and I think the Apple Watch is the best one.

My Versa (original, not 2) only lasts about 30 hours.  I charge it for almost an hour every morning when I wake up and it's down to 10-25% by the next morning.

My charge used to last 10 days or more. Now I'm lucky if i get 3 because of this crazy change.

I have a similar issue. I have an iPhone 12+ and a fitbit versa lite.

Every time the watch dies the date and time resets to a random date in the past. Today is August 10th 10:07am, and the watch date is displaying June 29th, 12:38pm.

Steps I have taken:

-deleted and reinstalled the fitbit app

-revoked all devices and added back my phone

-pulling up or down on the home or app screen on the fitbit itself only displays "Nothing New Here: You're all caught up"

-Bluetooth is on both my phone and the watch. I've connected to the watch via bluetooth on my phone (the bluetooth tab on the watch only mentioned something about music...)

There used to be a sync button in the iPhone app and that would solve the issue - although an annoying solution as this had to be done almost daily. Now the watch is useless.
