So I bought a Versa 2 and a Versa Lite for my mother and she needs to have a watch face that is always on however it seems like the Versa Lite is totally missing the option. Also it doesn't have an option for Night mode to keep her screen from constantly coming in when she is trying to sleep so she is unable to wear it to bed. There was nothing to tell me that the Versa Lite would lack such basic settings that are available on like any other smart watch/fitness tracker. Also noticed my wife's Inspire HR doesn't have an always on option either. Am I just missing something or are they seriously just lacking such basic features?!

Hi @CompJunky - The Versa 2 is the latest Fitbit device and the first to offer the new “Always On” feature. Older devices do not offer this. You are not missing anything. The specs page for the Versa 2 describes Always On. The specs pages for the other Versa models do not.
Regarding your Mother’s Versa Lite, if you swipe down from the clock face, you will see the Quick Settings option. With the Screen Wake option, you can set it so the clock face will not turn on when you move the wrist. I use this feature every night. Simply turn it back on in the morning. You can check page 17 of the manual to read more about it.
The Inspire HR also allows you to turn off the Quick View option. Check page 17 of its manual for full instructions.
You may want to check out the manuals for all three devices. Here is a link to the Versa 2 manual.

Wow, that just blows my mind. Guess I'll be making that suggestion on their feature page. Thanks for confirming that as a missing feature. If I would have known that from the get go i would have made a different buying choice. Then again if I knew the Sp02 sensor was on the watch but useless I also would have never bought any Fitbits to begin with. Super disappointed so far with this company.
